I wonder if the bees🐝 know how lucky they are or were? Isn't this beehive wonderful🐝? I would never have guessed this replica of a French Country House was a beehive, would you🐝? The honey would have to be very special and the person who designed and build this structure should be celebrated because this is folk art at its best! It looks as if this house replica is being displayed indoors, saving it from weather damage. Nice! via Reminds me a little of the Early American Dollhouse I blogged about in 2010.
I surprised myself yesterday when I mowed the front in the morning and the back in the afternoon with my walk behind mower. Today I will do the field and more with my riding mower and more tomorrow. Happy Friday!
This is perfection. I wouldn't change a thing. The floor appears to be old wooden floors that were painted gray. I love the shiplap walls and everything else. Yes, every single thing.via
I woke up really early this morning and decided to try to schedule my two Covid-19 vaccinations on the CVS site. When I first logged on around 4:30 there were appointments open in almost every city on the New Jersey site. I think there must have been too many people trying to do the same thing because I kept ending up on a page that said Check Back Later. Sometime around 6:45 all the towns started showing up as FULLY BOOKED but I checked the Appointment Link and still got one for my first shot this Thursday and my second vaccine on April 1st. I am thrilled. Make sure your wallet is handy with all of the required identification card numbers even though there is no cost. The appointment confirmation comes in a text plus an email and it's very comprehensive and there's even a link for directions if the CVS is an unfamiliar town.
I could walk to the CVS near me but my appointment is around 25 minutes away but I've been to the area before and I don't have to travel on a highway so I am not complaining. https://www.cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine
Lovely in almost every way. Maybe they hoved the table and rug closer to the chair just for this photo and moved the footstool or ottoman. Am I the only living human who absolutely must have my legs outstretched to get comfortable? I adore this room and the bookcases that round the corner. via This wouuld be a good spot for bird watching too with binoculars on the lamp table. I have bright sun this morning that will melt the snow on my balcony without shoveling. I'm happy to hear so many of you are enjoying my bird photos. xo
I really love this kitchen. The cabinetry is beautiful and looks like antiques that were built in. What beautiful fine woodwork. I like the combination of wooden countertops and black honed granite. The ceiling beams are wonderful and so is the lantern. It's really special, isn't it? via
Peter Brown, Moses Back From His Walk, 2020, Oil on board via This oil painting is about a dog coming back from a walk but the architectural detals and interior design seem to be the main theme. Peter Brown is certainly a house-proud artist, isn't he? I love the reflections on the beautiful wide board floor and the fine woodwork. I hope Moses wiped his paws. Happy Monday. xo
I love it all. The paint colors of the walls and cabinetry with painted knobs, the upholstery fabric on the seat, the cafe curtains and the checked fabric, the framed mirror. the penny tile floor and the large shower with marble walls and a window. If I missed anything, I like that too. via
