I really love this kitchen. The cabinetry is beautiful and looks like antiques that were built in. What beautiful fine woodwork. I like the combination of wooden countertops and black honed granite. The ceiling beams are wonderful and so is the lantern. It's really special, isn't it? via

It's a beautiful kitchen. Now I'm suffering from a serious case of kitchen envy. (Sigh...I need a kitchen remodel so badly.)
Yes, this kitchen is easy on the eyes--and I'll bet it's a dream to work in! We need to remodel the kitchen in the little home we bought near our kids. I keep going back and forth over whether we should install painted or wood-look cabinets. I like this kitchen's use of warm wood touches, plus painted cabinets!
Pam -- I liked all the natural wood touches mixed with painted cabinets too. You must be thrilled living close to your children. Take you time. Keep your cabinets if you can and just replace the doors. I'm sure you will love whatever finish you choose.

lisa -- I think lots of my readers have kitchen envy over this fabulous kitchen. I did mine on a budget and am shocked when I hear how much kitchens cost when caution is thrown to the wind.
