Best Courtyard Garden!

This landscape design is simply stunning. It's simple yet sophisticated. Perfection! I am particularly fond of the wattle fencing around those blue flowers. Are they forget-me-nots?  The potted primroses on the leaning fence-like shelves are pretty wonderful too. via

It's a wonderful courtyard garden, and I love the wattle fence too! Are wattle fences difficult to build?

Hi, yes the blue flowers are forget-me-nots. The plants in the pots are auriculas and the shelves are a variation on an auricula theatre.
Thank you for posting this garden, it is beautiful.

lisa -- A short wattle fence like this one would be easy if you have lots of flexible twigs. Just google [ DIY wattle fence ] or something like that. There are YouTube tutorials as well. I could use those horrible woody mugwort weed stems at my house. You have to hammer in sturdy stakes evenly spaced and weave in the flexible twigs. It would be a fun project with no cost.

Tricia -- Thanks for correcting my plant identification error. I have never heard of an auricula theatre but they are certainly deserving of one!
