I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday and are still enjoying the aftermath. I woke up to rain today but it's already clearing and promises to be a nice day with no Black Friday shopping for me. I heard on the news this week that this is going to be a mild winter and I hope it's true after what I went through last year. A Really Spectacular Bathroom

This custom bathroom is definitely not a cookie cutter example. Every inch is custom including the tiled ceiling. The marble sinks with the brass surrounds are quite spectacular, aren't they? I would love to see the rest of the room to see where the owners store their "stuff". I can't see a place for even a tube of toothpaste unless those mirrors open up to medicine cabinets. This could be my favorite bathroom ever. Yes, I do think it is. I love its elegance and simplicity and the woven tile rug on the floor is spectacular.

I love this corner of a great kitchen.  Corners can be awkward but this thoughtful design pulled it off perfectly. via

Blue and White Bathroom to Love

I especially love the charming ticking slipcover on the chair holding the towels. I love the short pleated skirt. Everything else is pretty nice too, especially the beautiful tub. via

Nasturtium Seeds and An Acorn Tile

I found the seeds for trailing nasturtiums and bought 4 packets. I have already planted 2 packets in various planters in my front garden. It has rained every day since and I have turned on my heat twice. Mother Nature is still on a rampage of sorts but I'm ever hopeful the seeds will do their thing and give me a wonderful display. Fingers Crossed. I will put in supports for the ones I want to climb and leave the rest alone so they can trail.

The fabulous blue acorn tile was purchased at the same estate sale as my silver trophy. I adore the impressed acorn design, the intense blue color, and just looking at it makes me happy. Enjoy your Sunday. xo
