Pic you chose...................oddly, a solution to catastrophe of all my new 'estate sale' wool oriental rugs. Bought, literally, for warmth/cost, zero concern for color/pattern. Must edit rest of house to ironstone white scheme. With a pop allowed if color works with oriental rug in that space.
Ca. 1900 house, is not a game with heating. Learned how to dress for house in winter, solved discomfort.
Living in a cold house, learned brown adipose fat is forced to burn. Aids in better health, longer life, weight control, less inflammation, lowers dementia odds....
Humorously, receive compliments on how I dress now in winter. Before? Nothing.
Sleep in long johns, wool socks, cashmere pullover sweater ! Cap if needed, too.
More from her instagram...........idea to sell the, now unwanted, antique ironstone due to 'color'.
Have a pair of sheds, and a small pole barn on my 5 acres. Hmm. Shed Sale, nice sound ! SHED SALE SATURDAY......up for days. SHED SALE TODAY. Bingo.
House historically, at front, near road. Original Pony Shed was renovated... perfect for this. A walk down the gravel drive, beside Fig Terrace at back of house.
Thank you Rosemary.............for these ideas. Will keep you posted, along this new path. Big Hug.............XOT
Tara Dillard -- My house is cold in winter and I have learned to dress appropriately indoors too. I love a cold bedroom and am very cozy with a woolen blanket and my eiderdown comforter. You should set up a shop in one of your outbuildings and have occasional sales for things you no longer love or need. I'm glad you like the ideas you get from my posts and end up following the people I follow too. Hope your New Year is getting off to a good start. xo, Rosemary

Thanks, Pam. I did have a nice weekend and hope you did too. So glad you like this awesome garden room. xo, Rosemary
It's a fabulous garden room! What I wouldn't give to have a garden room like this. Now I'm suffering from a serious case of garden room envy!
