I never tire of photographing lady's mantle in the early morning with the dew collecting on all the fringed leaves.

The brilliance of this scarlet geranium that is next to my front door is amazing. I have overwintered this plant for years and years and years. It was a rescue plant from a friend who was going to throw it out. Free plants are my favorite.

I love your photos of Lady's Mantle...probably my favorite perennial. I have several growing in different areas on my property & found some tiny seedlings today which I put into peat pots to move to a new location. The small chartreusse flowers are gorgeous in an herbal bouquet or with anything purple, & they last quite a long time.
...all is grace!

Penelope Bianchi -- Penelope: You will have to look up your growing zone. I am in 6b (New Jersey). Lady's mantle is easy to grow. Typically, the plant grows well in regions with cool summers and moist, fertile soil and is hardy in USDA plant hardiness zones 3-7. While it can tolerate full sun, lady's mantle performs better in shade when grown in warmer regions.

Pam -- Yes, I am finished with my self-quarantine but I have been too busy doing yard work to go out. I am caught up now so I will schedule another curbside grocery run. I am the same way with plants I have gotten from friends in my memory garden. I really must go and knock on the door of the first house I owned in NJ. I had purple and white dwarf Siberian iris transplanted from an elderly antique dealer's garden. Every year she thinned them and sold the plants for 5 cents each. I think I bought them all before moved to New Hampshire. I neglected to dig any of them up when I moved and I've always regretted it.
