Yes, please. I have always loved a settle bench at the front door. This guesthouse in the Hamptons is charming! The main house is large and very nice with an understated classic interior filled with antiques. See it too in the link below.
The guest cottage has a cozy living room off the kitchen.

I love, love, love curved walkways. And brick? Be still my heart. I'm sure the bricklayer grumbles but they are so much more interesting and graceful.
Gail, northern California -- Yes, Gail, I agree. The curved brick walkway is the icing on the cake!

PLUS(!), how many guest cottages have a windmill right outside their door?
Mama Pea -- YES. Having a restored windmill so close is a huge plus. Thanks for pointing that out! Have a great Labor Day.

Love the guest cottage, but that windmill, oh my. Could it be that my maternal grandfather was Dutch? Rosemary, you never disappoint us! Have a great Labor Day weekend.
You said it Rosemary - it is the BEST GUEST HOUSE EVER!!!
Pam -- You should definitely go to Water Mill NY. It is a quaint town full of windmills near the Hamptons in Long Island. I think that might be where this Windmill House is located. So glad you like this post.
