My snowdrops are pretty excited about the first day of spring tomorrow and they are putting on a big show for her. I got up nice and close with my camera to show the green detail on the inner petals that looks as if one of the garden fairies applied it with a watercolor brush. Hope you are having a great weekend. xo

Aren't they something!!! Yep, you must have some very skilled fairy artists at your house.
Pam -- My Garden Fairies only work in the spring. The Weed Witches take over later. They work overtime when it's too hot to be outside. xo, Rosemary
Please tell me the difference between Snowdrops and Lilies of the Valley. They look so similar. Are those just two different names for the same flower?
Pam, They are very different. Lilies of the Valley have a very broad leaf and tiny white bell-shaped flowers and the loveliest aroma in the world. They are much later bloomers than Snowdrops that have thin leaves. Snowdrops multiply by bulb division. Lilies of the Valley sent out underground shoots. I will photograph mine when they bloom. I'm glad Spring has come your way! xo, Rosemary
