Winter Story is a 1980 children's book, the final of the four seasons of Jill Barklem's Brambly Hedge series. In the book the biggest snowstorm in years leaves enough snow for an ice ball. Wonderful books. So well written and illustrated.
As a former preschool teacher, I loved sharing these books with my children. They always enjoyed them.
Adorable I love mice illustrations. So homey that picture. I never heard of that series.
