🐱STUFFED CATS: Free Sewing Pattern and Tutorial🐱

These cute Happy Cats look pretty easy and you have over a month until Christmas to whip up a few. Pattern is in several sizes and it's a free download from Ann Wood Handmade.

You should start with the large one because turning and stuffing will be easier. It could be a cat toy too for your favorite feline and you could fill it with catnip. Fill with sand and it could be a pincushion. You could just draw the features with a sharpie if you use an unprinted fabric.

She has many other free patterns to download below:

Happy sewing.

You're welcome☺️

I don’t sew at all but think they are just the cutest!!!
Wouldn’t one be sweet in some old piece of wool?

I actually think that even I could make these adorable cats! I did a little mending a few days ago, and found it very relaxing. Sometimes we forget the simple rewards of needle and thread! Thanks for the pattern!!

I love these--they remind me of the balsam cats that we used to buy in the Christmas Village on Long Beach Island. I actually found balsam needles for sale and was thinking of making a balsam cat, so this pattern comes at the perfect time. As a child vacationing on LBI, I sewed a little pillow and filled it with sand to make a toy along the lines of a bean bag...and all the sand poured out from the spaces between the stitches. So, if you plan to fill with sand as a pin cushion, make sure your stitches are TIGHT!!!

Pam -- It is very rewarding to do something constructive with your hands while you sit. Sewing is one of them. Mending by hand is a noble thing to do these days and give extended life to garments. Good for you! I hope you enjoy making some stuffed cats. xo, Rosemary
