Beautiful White Clapboard House in Fall

The carpet of fallen leaves enhances the beauty of this New England colonial home. I love the stark simplicity of the windows with no shutters. via

I just love all the leaves and this time of the year!
It’s just passing too quickly. The Christmas haste is pressing in
all around us.🤭

Linda A. -- I know! But I am thankful we are still having fall in my area and can still work outside. I did a last mowing this week and crunched the leaves at the same time. I enjoyed it too.
Have a great Thanksgiving🦃. xo, Rosemary

Such a lovely home, and those leaves are gorgeous! Many of our trees still have leaves. So unusual for this late in November, but we're enjoying their beauty.

I wonder how long that lovely stone wall has been there? Was it built when the first part of the house was? (Unless the whole structure is "new.") Was the wall originally part of a farm field boundary? Oh, the history!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Rosemary. I give thanks regularly for your wonderfully interesting posts!

Mama Pea -- I tried to locate this particular house online but couldn't find it? It looks as if there might be a "sidewalk" under the leaves between the stone wall and the road so it could have been added later. It could be a new house as well. The roof looks brand new and so do the copper gutters and the siding. Whatever the case, it is beautiful and timeless. Thank you for your kind words about my daily posts. Sometimes they come to me easily and other times I have to search and search before I find something worthy of sharing. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving too. xo, Rosemary
