I love it all. The black pelmets, the black lampshades, the black & white framed photographs, and the black and white wallpaper. The old spool bed too. Photo found here.
This bedroom might be small but it certainly is attractive! I was not familiar with the word "pelmet" and I always love learning new things from you, Rosemary!! Hope you haven't been hit hard with rain and wind.
Pam -- When I first heard that word in the early 1990s I had never heard it either. My customer had pelmets in the house he was selling and mentioned the word often. That was before Google and I had to look it up in a real dictionary! I had always called them cornices. I pretended I knew what he was talking about. I love learning new things and thought I might not be the only one who wasn't familiar with that terminology for a window treatment. xo, Rosemary
