A Wonderful Farmhouse and A Cobbler Recipe

Just wonderful only I wouldn't want to mow around all those rocks in the lawn. I'm sure they must have a backstory. via

I really like this cobbler recipe saved from an old newspaper clipping. It could be used on any seasonal fruit and the peaches are especially good right now. via

P.S. Rosemary, If you have any more of those fabulous squash pies to share - the ones with the amazing crust designs - I would love to see them. My late mother used to make the most amazing pies. Thanks again!

What a wonderful farmhouse. Those rocks have me stumped, though. Thanks for the recipe. I had to look up my mom's recipe for cobbler, and it's almost identical. With cooler days, I'm looking forward to baking more. Have a lovely weekend, Rosemary!

Really cute farmhouse with such a serene setting! I am going to make this cobbler tomorrow to take to dinner with friends. Might try peach. 🍑 I love these older recipes.

The cobbler was great! I used fresh peaches and next time I would add more fruit. Crust was delicious!

VintageDaisyDeb -- Deb, Thanks for the making the cobbler and the feedback about adding more peaches next time. I think this recipe is going to be a keeper for so many of us.
