Hoar Frost with Sheep

It's coming says Jack Frost. I do love a good hoar frost and a winding path full of sheep. The autumn leaves on these massive old trees have yet to lose their leaves so warm days are still possible. Found on Instagram @wolfypic  He photographs in Scotland and England's Lake District. This is probably the Lake District where Beatrix Potter raised sheep. xo

What a wonderful picture. I always love seeing sheep because they remind me of my grandfather, who raised them with much devotion.

It's beautiful. Where was this picture taken? (Personally, I can hardly wait until the hot weather leaves us, here in northern CA.)

Pam -- It's nice when you see something that evokes fond memories of a grandfather, a devoted sheep farmer.

What a spectacular photo, who doesn't love a photo that includes sheep? It reminds me of today at my house. Last night the temps dropped dramatically and we now have snow in the mountains and some in the valley and the trees still turning. Just like this photo, a reminder that we are quickly transitioning from fall and racing towards winter.
