The exposed brass pipes let more of the wallpaper show and the glass lets are a nice touch. The gold faucet and light fixture carry out the theme. Not sure how the hot and cold water works. Maybe that knob on top of the faucet regulates the temperature. I love the marble counter and high backsplash. All this works very nicely in a small space. I love looking at other people's choices for decorating their homes. via

I think it controls the sink plug not the water temperature.
I'm a fan of Blue Willow, and this bathroom is a beauty. A while back, I read an interesting fact. Although the pattern tells a Chinese tale, Blue Willow was created and produced in England many, many years before it was ever manufactured in China. About 25 years ago, my daughter and I were shopping in a thrift store and we spied a box full of Blue Willow dishes. I offered the owner $5 and she took it! When my daughter married and set up housekeeping, I split the dishes with her, so she can enjoy them every day, as I do.
jane -- Thanks. I hadn't even thought about the drain plug.

Pam -- Great thrift store find. I can't believe you got enough pieces to split with your daughter after she married. I am sure she treasures them even more since she was with you when you found them. Knowing their history makes them even more special.
