Ah, yes! A cottage at the lake . . . with a sleeping porch! Seems especially enticing this misty, foggy morning we have here. Hope you have a lovely Memorial Day Weekend, Rosemary!
Mama Pea -- You too. I am spending quality time around the cottage dealing with summer clothes, closet organizing, washing laundry to dry outdoors, and every type of housework imaginable. I am enjoying it too because it's so quiet on my street. No mowers or blowers and almost no traffic. So far, it is a perfect weekend with nice cool breezy overcast weather.

Love to have a nap there or listen to it rain while reading a book. You sound very busy this weekend. I’m watching over my daughter’s cats this weekend while she’s visiting her BFF in Florida who just had a baby. Very exciting time. Have a great weekend!

I watched the National Memorial Day Celebration from the Capitol last night on PBS. it was especially poignant this year. I think I bawled all the way through it. xo
