Blue and White on a Kitchen Wall

Just my style! I love this kitchen wall and the artful arrangement of the owner's collection of blue and white Staffordshire serving pieces. The artwork is perfect and the Staffordshire figures add a bit of color and interest. The decorative shelf supports are lovely but don't compete with the wall arrangement thanks to the white paint. You have to look very carefully to see the subway tile backsplash. There is so much to absorb in this single photo found in Victoria Magazine. Enjoy looking and have a great weekend. xo

I love Victoria Magazine. Most of my china is blue and white. We have open shelving in the kitchen for display. So pretty.

It's cheerful and charming, and I would be a very happy girl if I had this kitchen!

What a gorgeous arrangement. It reminds me of a time when my daughter was a little girl, and we were combing through an antiques store. She was much closer to the floor than I was, and she found a cardboard box pushed under a shelf. She called me over and when I pulled it out, we discovered it was full of dusty old blue and white plates. There were no price tags, so we hauled this box to the front of the store and the young clerk told us we could have it all for $6.00. Well we brought our treasure home and soaked those dishes and washed them several times before they were clean. We have always loved them because they were our shared treasure. When my daughter married and moved into her little farmhouse, I let her take some of those blue and white dishes to display in her china cabinet. Rosemary, thanks for this post that brought back such a good memory! XOXO

I love this picture. I'm not a over the top dishes person. I don't have sets and sets of dishes. I have Churchills Blue Willow that I have used for years and years. They are pretty on the table, in the cabinets and on display. Just perfect!

I love blue and white. When I redid my formal dining room I added blue and white to my corner cabinet.

Did you notice the little dog portrait on the left. Looks like he is wearing a hat! How adorable. Makes the arrangement of plates even better.

Well you know me, I love beautiful dishes. Blue and white is timeless and never out of fashion. I love the inclusion of the small paintings in this arrangement.
