A Scarlet Ibis in a Powder Room

There is so much to study in this marvelous powder room. Which came first, the statement painting of a flamingo Scarlet Ibis (thank you Brenda) and her egg or the room? I adore the floor and the marble sink as well as the shutters on the window. Every detail is perfect including the raised commode.

Thank you so much for all of your comments from yesterday's post. I truly appreciate all of your kind words and your support. xo

This powder room is absolutely eye catching space. That flamingo painting is stunning and even more so due to the decor in the rest of the room. Every inch has been so well thought out from floor to ceiling, sink, commode and fixtures. It makes me wonder what the rest of the house looks like.

I've been visiting your blog for years but have never signed up to follow it. I just go to it several times a week. I love your blog. Please keep it up.

Love this bathroom particularly the sink. I have a thing for sinks. Shall I tell you that the ‘flamingo ‘ is really a scarlet ibis?
