I really love the look of this chair with a relaxed-fit slipcover. Maybe it would be easy to make but I'm not sure. The whole setting is quite lovely too. Don't you love the fabric choices for the chair and the pillow? photo found on Pinterest and traced back to here.

I agree; both are very pretty. I've always loved slipcovers, especially when you have animals, and that fabric looks washable.

Once upon a time, a friend decided that I lived in a "Laura Ashley house." I was a bit prone to florals, perhaps too much so. I've since eased up but I still love this look. I wonder if the pillow's fabric is designed that way or if the person used the reverse. I bought some fabric for a pillow years ago (eight years ago, turns out; where the heck have eight years gone?!) and while I was pleased with what I saw on the bolt, I was equally as excited by the reverse, so I made a two-sided pillow: http://bethkujawski.blogspot.com/2010/08/done.html
Love slipcovers, would like to have them on all my soft furniture. I really like everything that is going on in this photo....everything.
Been toying with the idea of assembling a slipcover for a tired but sweet little chair. The "easy" fit of this one seems doable. I will report back in a bit.
