The cloud machine was working last week. I got this shot just before the sun went down. How did you like Downton Abbey last night? What a great ending. I won't spoil it for those of you who didn't or haven't watched yet. They really featured every character, didn't they? xo

That sky is beautiful! And I love the photo of Webster lying on the deck. I am so sorry that Downton is over for the season. Yes, I agree they did a nice ending. I especially love the maternal feelings exchanged between the kitchen staff and young cooks. It is going to feel like forever waiting for the next season. I love the sarcastic exchanges between Maggie Smith and Shirley McLain.
Lana...I agree. It WILL be forever before the next season. Torture! I also loved the exchange between Edith and the Farmer. So moving. Mrs. Patmore is the best too. Love her. And Paul Giamonte was a nice new addition, wasn't he?

A whole host of loving exchanges, excepting Mary's "I'd rather sleep on the roof." Sibling rivalry is a powerful force, isn't it? She can be so loving and caring with Anna--even saving Rose from herself-- but not with Edith.
Love, love, love the show. I watch each episode several times because they are filled with so many wondrous details, many can be missed.

I sure didn't want to see Downton Abbey end. I was a little confused, though, watching the episode. I felt like I missed something. It took me a bit to realize that this was some time later - after Edith's return from Switzerland. Also, at the end, I thought it was a bit confusing when she was talking to that man about the baby. Who was that man? Is she going to move the baby so she's closer? It was a little too nuanced for me.
