Happy Halloween | I Have Power Again

My power was restored after being off for over 48 hours and that is my halloween treat for sure. The flat screen tv in my bedroom appears to have been fried and I am not at all pleased about that but it could be worse. I am really exhausted from being a lumberjack and pioneer woman. I know I will sleep like a log tonight. I haven't checked my email or comments yet -- I am just so glad to be back to normal. See you tomorrow. This barn is nearby and I took this photo several years ago but I still love it.

Rosemary,
I didn't know you were without power. I am glad you have the fireplace, at least. I know Webster snuggled up to you to keep you warm, too! Glad you are back with us and I love that barn!!!

Thank goodness you got it back! No power is the worst, been there, done that! I loooove that photo of the barn, had to "pin" it! Hopefully you can get everything back to normal soon!

We are still having a pretty pleasant day here in Alberta! But I did see some news coverage of the snowfall in some of the US...glad you are back to having power. Love the barn that is close to you!! What a beautiful red! Stay warm my friend. :)

So glad to hear you're o.k. I worried when I saw no change to your blog.

Ditto that. I had no idea. So glad you got power back sooner rather than later. Still, 48 hours...That's rough! I'd be in the corner in a fetal position. Yes, I am that spoiled and ill-prepared. Shame on me. :)

Hope your night was lovely. For you and Webster!

Oh dear, it was that bad? We only had scant reports in the UK that there were heavy snowstorms in the USA. Glad you had your fire to warm you.
Hope things get better for you.

Thankfully you have a woodburner to keep you warm. I like being without power once in awhile--seems kind of "rustic", but after a day or two--no thank you!
Glad all is back to normal for you-sorry about your tv.

Rosemary,
Glad you have power again. Hope the weather gives you a break for awhile. That's really unfortunate about your TV but I guess if that's the worst of it you're okay.

I'm sooo happy to have you back online! I've become addicted to your lovely photos and calm comments, I need them to smooth the wrinkles on my forehead at the end of my long and busy days.
All the best from Hungary! :)
