A Cottage in a Steel Box, An Architectural Wonder by Adam Kalkin with Video . . .
Built by Architectural Designer Adam Kalkin for his own use.
International shipping containers were used for the outer shell. A real country cottage is inside. Some of the walls lift to bring the outdoors in. I can't believe this is near me and I am just hearing about it. I think it is pretty famous. Welcome to "Bunny Lane" ~ I look forward to your comments.

Let me know if you want to see it. Price $2.4 million. More details about this unique home.

Life's Little Instruction Book, page 104 + Laundry On My Mind . . .
...To be continued...
My back is almost well. No more muscle spasms as of late Saturday night. I am still taking it easy. Never want to pull a muscle or strain my back again. Thanks for all of your notes of concern. I have the greatest blog readers and I really am touched by such caring.
I can't remember the last time I was able to hang the wash outside. Maybe Tuesday will be rainless. I love these posts. My clothes line is stretched between two trees.
What a great idea ... A drying yard with a brick floor. Your clothes are shielded from the street too because of the lattice sides. Swoon. This is definitely on my dream list.

Unwanted newspapers still appearing in my driveway . . .
This photograph is an antique folk art carving of a hand holding a newspaper. How appropriate for this post. It is one of my favorite things. The dark areas are tree bark. I added the cool stamp border here.
Have a great Sunday. Happy Father's Day.

Yet another toad comes to visit . . .
My back is better but a long way from being normal. I am going to keep doctoring it until it's well. The invalid life is not for me. I am the first to admit that I have overworked it and the rebellion has begun.
I had a gutter man here yesterday cleaning out the clogged downspouts in preparation for today's storms. He was a nice general home repair man and I can think of so many things he can help me do. I feel relieved that I've found someone. I think I will hire out my next mowing too.
Sounds as if I'm getting soft, doesn't it? Have a great weekend.

Photos from my Cottage and others too . . .
I love this cottage entrance. Don't you?
A built-in bed with a window. I want this!
I love the mirror treatment on the closet doors too.
This is my guest room/dressing room. Another view of this room.
I got the mirror recently at a tag sale and put it up myself.
It makes the room look ever so much bigger. Love it.
As for my reflection ... don't love it. :-)
If you look carefully you will see Webster staring at his reflection.
I love this shadow play in my cottage.
It helps me remember that there was once a sunny day.
