Life's Little Instruction Book | Volume II | Page 13

I think I'd change #557 from safety pins to big binder clips. They're such handy things, aren't they?

May Your Bobbin Always Be Full

Great Illustrated Quote Don't you hate it when the bobbin runs out in the middle of a seam? When I was young, I used to think if I ran the machine very slowly the thread would last longer.

Pink Bicycle Tires

I hope you run over some pink petals while you pedal your bike this weekend. Doesn't the air smell delicious this time of year? My property smells like a perfume factory with the wild honeysuckle and multi-flora roses blooming all over.

Cottage for Sale, Must be Moved | Currently Reading

[Click either photo to enlarge]

Sometimes I think I definitely have a fairy god mother who puts books I might like in the free book bin at the Post Office. I actually pounced on this one like a hen on a June bug as they say in the south. I just started it and love it already. Perfect reading for a hot almost summer day. It is sizzling outside at 92 degrees. I have a fan blowing directly at my face so I'm fine.

A Kitchen That Is Over The Top

I'd say this kitchen is really over the top, wouldn't you? Don't you love the bread drawers? I think it's way too pretty to mess up. Every time I cook from scratch my kitchen looks like a cyclone hit it. If I am doing holiday cooking I can usually keep it under control but when I bake cookies on the spur of the moment I'm in big trouble. Why is that? I guess my mind isn't ready and didn't get enough advance notice.
