I seem to be adjusting well to the new time. Today is the second day I've awakened a few minutes before the alarm went off. I had already finished my coffee when I took this photo in my kitchen. Have a great Thursday. xo
So beautiful how the sun shines into your cottage. We've had lots of gray, rainy days and I long for the sun! I'm still trying to get used to the time change. I've been getting up around 4:30 every morning, and by mid-afternoon I'm ready for a nap, lol.
Pam -- When I wake up too early I watch an episode of a series I'm watching on TV and that puts me back to sleep for another couple of hours. I don't like getting up when it's still dark unless sunrise is only a few minutes away. I hope you adjust to the new time soon. At least the clock in my car is right again. I never changed it back to standard time in the fall. Happy St. Patrick's Day. xo, Rosemary
Lisa D. -- That Dutch door was an afterthought after the solid door was built. The carpenter cut it in half and put battens on the back and it worked out beautifully. I keep the bottom door closed so as not to block the radiator in the winter. It looks neater that way too. The kitchen evolved in other ways too. Little by little it just came together and I love it too. xo, Rosemary
