Snow Day????? Not Really❄️

Remember these show shovels I left leaning on the wall last fall? They are working to scare the snow away, just as I hoped they would! Now if I could just devise something to deter the high winds coming later. I have a friend in the Berkshires of Massachusetts who's getting two feet. Be safe if you live in such an area. I always remember getting real winter weather in March, just when spring is right around the corner.

Rosemary, I'm so glad your snow is light! When I saw the weather report earlier, I wondered about your area. Your poor friend--two feet of snow is a lot. Hoping the storms won't be as bad as predicted.

They are getting a crazy amount of snow in the Sierras. Thank God I don't live there!

Pam, Thanks for worrying about me. I am so happy my area is somewhat protected from the worst weather this year. My friend with two feet of snow is still waiting for her long driveway to be plowed. Worker is waiting for the winds to diminish.

Lisa D. -- Wow. The Sierras are not for me either in winter.

Doesn't it just make you long for summer sunshine and warmth? We've just had a terrific gale blow through the country, with heavy snow in the north of England and Scotland. Thank you for posting, Rosemary, snow falling is so picturesque.

Tasha T -- Oh dear, I get cold just reading about your UK weather. I have been blessed so far by a very mild winter. The winds in my area didn't do any damage on my street but did bring down trees and wires on another major road nearby. I hope you get some warmer weather soon.
