Pam -- Sadly the rain came much earlier at eleven o'clock in the morning. I set up my drying racks in the laundry room instead. I rarely use my dryer. I know what you mean about the way sun-dried clothes smell. There is no perfume any finer. I'm glad you enjoyed the fable. xo, Rosemary
Tara Dillard -- I lost my clothesline when a tree blew down. Now I use my wonderful wooden drying racks outside in summer, inside in winter. For large items like sheets I also use my balcony railings. We are exactly the same:)

I hope your laundry dried before the rains came. No doubt its fragrance is better than any perfume. Another cute fable with lots of lessons.

Weather dictates my laundry days.
I do look at weather forecasts to choose laundry day.
Small things..........go on inside drying rack. Don't have a laundry line, instead, a lengthy deck rail.
Anyone use an organic/safe laundry detergent? Thanks in advance.....
