A Corner of My Livingroom

I just looked at the clock, and yes, it's still morning for 10 more minutes. I moved this cast iron squirrel pushing a container so I could enjoy it more. I filled his little container with a tiger's eye or Agate polished egg-shaped stone I have had for ages. I wish I had a giant acorn but I don't. We have bright sunshine today and it's very welcome. Enjoy this Sunday and the long MLK holiday weekend.

What a cute little squirrel! A good idea to give him an egg if you haven't a giant acorn. May be a little posy in the spring? Thank you for posting, Rosemary, and I hope you're enjoying your long weekend holiday.

This is such an attractive and welcoming corner of your living room! Love seeing your red barn through the window. Knowing you, Rosemary, I'll bet the day will come when you find a big acorn that fits perfectly in your squirrel's basket.

Pam -- I would be absolutely thrilled to find a giant acorn for the squirrel's basket and you will be the first to know. The red barn in this photo is my neighbor's across the street. Mine is in the back. My cottage is close to the road but I have no houses behind me. xo, Rosemary

I always enjoy the photos of your house. I don't comment often, but always read your blog.
