Raindrops on clover leaves.
Watering cans being drained before being stored for the winter.
Looking up. This is a color photo.
Interesting color in the wetlands on a cloudy day.
The green is especially vibrant today.
So many vines to photograph.
Some trees are already bare but this one is holding on.
The red really pops on an overcast day.
UPDATE: Here is an end of the day (5:15pm) photo showing deer in the back. I used the most powerful zoom lens and this is as close as I could get while standing on my balcony. They were closer to the house but ran away when I opened the door to go outside. It cleared up after an overcast couple of days and it's good to see some blue sky again.
Walk over and I'm still enjoying photographing all the stages of fall. Can't quite believe it's November already but the calendar doesn't lie. There has been a lot of fog but mild temperatures requiring just a sweater. I know I will wake up one day soon to a hard frost but we've been spared one so far. All of today's photos are right out of the camera with no further editing. I am pleased and this is saving me a lot of time. Let me know when you've had enough and I will try to find another theme.

Never enough fall leaf photos; keep them coming.
Linda Sand -- I just added one more 'end of the day' photo to this post showing some deer in the back. Thank you for liking my fall photos and giving me permission to post more. xo, Rosemary
Lovely fall pictures, Rosemary. Is this a new camera?
You've captured so many beautiful shades of color and texture. While walking yesterday, I realized that the majority of our brilliant leaves have fallen, but those brown, rust and golden leaves that are hanging on are lovely, too. It's always a pleasure to see deer feeding. We had a young buck in our backyard a few days ago. While washing dishes, I looked out the window, and there he was, looking back at me. It took my breath away. There's so much to see in our world!
Will never tire of your property, and the Love Affair you're having with it.
How large is your property? How large the wetlands?
First pic, I see the Web Of LIFE ! God is good. From the mundane, we are wrought. Nurtured: mind, body, spirit.
When I come home after dark from a meeting, often see family groups of deer grazing close to my house. Thrilling each time.
A joy seeing yours.

Tara Dillard -- Tara, I have two acres but I have protected parkland behind me and beside me on the side next to my picket fence that is habitat for the barred owl and can never be built on. I am only the second owner of my house that the first owner built himself. I couldn't be happier. I love seeing my deer too and have a fox den in the way back. Yes, I truly have a love affair with my property as you do yours. xo, Rosemary
We caught a grouping of fourteen (!) deer crossing our driveway on our trail camera a couple of days ago. But, sigh, deer hunting season opens here this coming Saturday.
Your photography is beautiful. Simply beautiful.
Pam, Mindfully washing dishes at the kitchen sink and seeing a buck up close looking back must indeed have been thrilling. The maple leaves have all fallen but there are still so many hanging on. I never have my gutters cleaned until I am sure they have ALL fallen. Luckily my new handyman has a side business of putting up Christmas Lights to outline houses and he's doing one for a new neighbor a few houses down. She got his name from me. He said he would do my gutters either when he's putting up her lights or when he's taking them down. His partner in this venture is my housepainter so I know I will get a good job. xo, Rosemary
JudyMac -- YES! I got a new iPhone. My old one was a 7plus and I upgraded to 14ProMax and am loving it. I am still learning its capabilities. It is the last iPhone that uses the lightning connector so I can still use my old chargers. That is why I jumped in now. The new one does Macro photography quite well and that's my first love. I keep my phones for a long time so it takes a while to become proficient with a new one. Thanks for asking. xo, Rosemary
MamaPea -- WOW. A herd of 14 deer was quite thrilling to see on your trail camera. We have deer hunters too in the parkland but I've never seen one. They have to keep a certain distance from a house. My parkland is 883 acres with 9.9 miles of walking and biking trails. Hunters need a special permit to hunt in the park and it is for bow hunting only. Thank you for your kind words about my photography. xo, Rosemary
I, too, love your photographs. You have a beautiful property. I have 3 1/2 acres, in a beautiful neighborhood, but considered "semi-rural". I wrote to you about my snail lamp that is, I'm sure, one of the same series of iron/glass shell animal lights...5 watts ...that you have. I hope you could open the "view" portion of it.
I am sending this blog to you because I liked it and thought you might also like to take a look.

Charlene's World -- Charlene -- I added 5 photos of my turtle lamp so you could see the inside and more photos of my shell which is real glass. I never got any correspondence from you. I added the photos to the old post -- see link below:

Thank you for the blog recommendation. I took a quick peek and it looks very nice.
