Last Photo of Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth on Sept. 6, 2022.
JANE BARLOW - WPA POOL/GETTY

I thought she looked so lovely in her Scottish plaid pleated kilt and powder blue cardigan. And now, only two days later, she is gone. This is her last photo after she met with the new Prime Minister. She truly worked as she promised, all of her long life. Photo from his article. I watched her coronation in 1952 and have admired her ever since and will miss her.

She is truly beloved🌟

I believe I admired the Queen because I grew up with a mom who esteemed her. My mother always followed the royal family and we were proud of the grace and grit with which she reigned over her beloved country. My mother always believed our world needs more leaders like the Queen. We do!

I thought she looked quite spry and was surprised and saddened by her passing. Completing her final duty by meeting the new Prime Minister was so typical of her sense of responsibility and duty before succumbing. May she rest in peace.

Eileen in Fla. -- Eileen, I was surprised and saddened too. I hope she felt as good as she looked as she performed her last public royal duty with the new prime minister. She will be missed. xo, Rosemary
