Final Photo Showing Chairs at My Front Door

I promise this is the last photo!
I bought these chairs last winter on the first day I was able to get out of my driveway after a blizzard. The patina of the heavy metal matches my lighting fixtures. They are so much better than the old shutters were flanking my front door. I gave them a good coat of lemon oil for protection from the upcoming winter weather. The seats are basket weave woven.
Enjoy your Sunday. xo

I never tire of any photos of your house (or ANY of your photos!) so no need to apologize for them! You have such a knack for decorating whether it's inside or out. I like the door without the shutters, too. :o)

Mama Pea -- I don't want to bore anyone posting too much of one thing. Thanks for your encouraging comment. I like my front door without the shutters SO much better too. xo, Rosemary

I look forward to your photos on the refresh of your cottage! Love the chairs,I recently painted my cottage from yellow to a gray blue and also went with matte black accents. I had my cement urns (purchased at a yard sale!)painted black and placed on either side of my door filled with fern. Isn't it fun to make such a change! I have a similar door and placed an early fall wreath on it, so fun to pull in and enjoy my refresh! I've followed you for years, and look forward to all of your posts, thank you. Linda

Linda (Unknown) You must be feeling very proud of yourself too for all you've accomplished with the exterior of your house. This must be the year for house painting and changing colors. Thanks for being a loyal follower. Your cottage sounds delightful. xo, Rosemary

I've really enjoyed seeing the pictures of your ever-changing cottage, Rosemary. Please never stop posting them. Seeing others making improvements helps to keep me motivated to do the same. Those chairs are just perfect for your entry. I can picture you sitting out there with a warm cup of tea on a cool fall day...

Pam -- I usually sit outside my front door during ice water breaks when I mow the front. I also like to sit there and open my mail. The package delivery people always leave my packages on one of the chairs so I can see them and pick them up easily. I am very happy they way these two look with the new house paint. They are the third set of chairs out there and the best by far. Have a great Labor Day. xo, Rosemary
