What a sweet cottage. It would be wonderful to tour the inside, but I understand people needing to maintain some privacy. I did wonder about the stones that are laid in the sod, surrounding the driveway. Didn't know if that was a common custom or if there might be a practical reason for it.
Pam -- I hadn't noticed those driveway stones. The lawn is higher than the driveway, so this type of "paving with stones" is a signal for drivers to stop the car. At least that is my guess. I think it's a good idea. xo, Rosemary
