Lisa D. -- That Twitter account has some amazing bird photos and videos. I started following them today. I searched the photo on Google Lens and that's how I found them and learned the birds' name. xo, Rosemary
Well, you stumped me (again) Rosemary. I've never seen a woodswallow before. They're beautiful. I had to look them up and learned they're primarily found in Australia. Great photo!

Maybe he agreed to be their watchman while the rest of them gawked. ;-)
So cute!
Carrie @ Cottage Cozy -- Carrie, I thought so too. xo, Rosemary
Gail, northern California -- Gail, Excellent thought! Maybe he IS the watchman on the lookout for hawks and other predators. xo, Rosemary
Pam -- The woodswallow was new to me too. Now I know why. Thanks for the information about this Australian bird. xo, Rosemary
