What a save! Thank goodness Mrs. Nicholls didn't toss it into the fire. Another reason we should clean the tops of furniture (even if no one sees the dust up there, lol).
Pam -- Your comment made me look at my corner cupboard. I don't think I've ever dusted the top! Maybe tomorrow I will run my lambswool duster on a long stick up there. Thanks for the idea. I am glad this painting was discovered. If only we knew why it was folded and hidden? xo, Rosemary
