I have always loved houses with sleeping porches and this one is wonderful. I would feel very safe sleeping outside up high like this. I would be uneasy on the ground floor. What fun it would be to wake up there on a summer morning. Watching it snow outside in the winter in this seating area would be fun too. I copied this photo from the MLS.

Just. Perfect. And what a wonderful area to let small children play safely "outdoors" if a young family lived there. Think of all the relatives that could sleep out there on pads and sleeping bags if the home owners hosted a family reunion in the summer!
What an amazing home, and those porches--oh my! I've only owned one home that had an enclosed porch (but it was tiny compared to these pictures). I loved the light it provided and it was the perfect place for plants. Rosemary, I laughed when you admitted you might not be comfortable sleeping on the ground floor. I AM WITH YOU! But I could snooze on that upper level. xo
