Honestly, I think this is the best I have ever seen!!! Completely brilliant! Turned a plain Jane into a stunning, lovely, authentic looking vintage house! Wowie!!!
Fabulous it is! I love makeovers as well & this one turned a plain little house into a charming cottage. It appears that they also added extra living space by bumping up the roof, which took nothing away from the charm.
Actually, 'cottage' happens to be one of my favorite words. It was that word in the name of your blog, Rosemary, that made me take a look at it back in 2011. And you are the only one I have continued to follow these many years later.
Wow. What a difference. You would hardly know it's the same house. I wonder what the inside looks like. It appears as though the upstairs space has been made larger by eliminating the dormer windows.
Lisa D. -- Yes, the upstairs was enlarged quite a bit. The dog house dormers became shed dormers and the peak over the garage was widened and heightened and bumped out somewhat. It's fun to study all the changes. I think it's a really great renovation. I wonder if it has new owners or if the original owners decided to stay and improve rather than move. I hope it's the latter. xo, Rosemary

Yes, this is such a great before and after!
Must have a top notch architect and a good bit of money.🥰

...all is grace!
I liked this sweet little place before but, wow, they really expanded the second floor into a lot more livable space, didn't they!
I found it charming ... both before And after!
