The view from this breakfast room window looks like a painting, doesn't it? The house by TruexCullins Architecture is in Charlotte, Vermont. I love the blue checked club chair with ottoman too!
Oh my . . . how utterly magical this setting is! I have such a thing about water (my great Grandfather was a Danish sea captain - maybe it's in the blood) I just have to be by it (and I do live right on a large creek). But this place . . .sigh . . . I just keep looking at it:)
It is so heartwarming that so many Americans are welcoming and helping the Afghans who have had to flee their country! I am volunteering to gather clothes and other things to help. The most heartbreaking picture I saw; (And I did not see many); was of a little girl holding a chickcen. It killed me. What chance did that little girl have of getting that chicken out of the country....let alone her and her little brother. My heart broke into pieces. I just want to help in any way I can! When I read in the NYTimes thins morning that so many Americans are welcoming the thousands of Afghan refugees; it restored my faith in this country.
I was losing faith every single day. Anti-vaccine, anti-science, anti-government protections....Heartbreaking.
Having lived in and shown properties for ten years in Vermont, I can attest to what a beautiful area the Champlain Islands are and to Truex Cullins inspiring, crisp designs.
Penelope Bianchi -- Penny, I lost 3/4 of my followers when feedburner did something (I don't remember what) quite a while ago. I had over 4,000 followers one day and the next day I had just under 1,000. Oh well, at least it wasn't something I did. So sorry for your experience. Your followers will find you. xo, Rosemary

And the afghan for cozying up into the chair.

What a great idea to have a comfy spot to relax, as well as a table in that area. That way, there are more opportunities to enjoy the gorgeous view.
It does, and it's a beautiful view.
Love it, too! I lost all of my subscribers when I lost whateveritwas that was my blog carrier. How sad. I hope you did not!
Your posts are a lifeline to many, many people! Me included, Rosemary!
