This is the final view of my hanging file so you can see the shape of the file boxes. You are also allowed to peek into my living room in a seldom seen corner.
Thank you to Lisa Smith for identifying this artist as LAURA STODDART
Her website is wonderful.
I used my scanner this morning to duplicate a group of gardeners I liked on a page I ripped out of a magazine. I've always liked this unknown artist and his long-legged characters.
It's nice and cool today and all of my windows are wide open once again. Happy Sunday. xo

I think I have seen works by this artist on Crabtree & Evelyn products, love the characters also.
I think I see something in one of your new files! Bet you're going to enjoy using it, Rosemary. Your living room is so inviting. Thanks for sharing these photos of your lovely cottage. Glad you had nice weather-it always makes me happy when I can open windows and air out the house.
Greetings to you, Rosemary! I am going to go out onto a limb here and suggest the artist may be Laura Stoddart. I fell in love with this style when she designed for Crabtree and Evelyn years ago. She has several wonderful books out, and her website is laurastoddart.com
oh wow. to have your windows wide open...
you lucky girl!
LOVE the glimpse into your cottage. it's beautiful. xo
Lisa Smith -- Thank you SO MUCH for identifying this artist. I went directly to her website and it's wonderful. I will add your link to my post for laurastoddart.com so everyone can enjoy it too.

OMG, your cottage is so neat! Did you paint recently, Rosemary?
Lisa D. -- No, I haven't painted my kitchen recently. My mother moved in the summer of 2003 when I got my final permit approval and I didn't move in full time until February or March of 2004 when I sold my previous home. I haven't repanted anything but there are areas I need to touchup.

Donna, YES. The artist has been identified and she did illustrations for Crabtree & Evelyn. My blog post has been updated with her website.

Sun’s out here this morning, but ATL looks to be right in the line of FRED. Guess I will have to lower my patio umbrella and move a few things around. As usual, your house is so lovely. My daughter has just taken on the project of updating her small laundry roo, Very ambitious project: paint ceiling, new light fixture, painting walls and storage cabinets, new tile flooring, and then bring in new W/D. She can usually do wghatever she sets her mind to, but will have to do a little ata a time as she still has a demanding job.
JudyMac -- I hope you don't get any major damage from FRED but it's always good to be prepared for the worst. Your daughter's project sounds like a fun one in a small space. I hope she's taking before and after photos so she can look back and see what she's done. You must be proud of her.
