HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING

I didn't hear any crowing when I woke up early this morning but a rooster must have welcomed the first day of spring somewhere. I photographed this image from my 19th century Royal Book of Crests.

I started doing a little bit of spring cleaning yesterday doing the inside windows in my kitchen and two in the living room. It's still too chilly to start on the outsides. Enjoy this promise of finer days to come. xo

All the roosters were at my house! Good grief! we have 7, and they crow all day. Too many. But how can I control who hatches? If anyone knows...please tell me

We now have 7 hens and 7 roosters.....two hens sitting on eggs.....one hen hatched one little onne!

I will keep you posted!

Penelope Bianchi -- Goodness. I guess you and Adam get up early or maybe you don't even hear the crowing since you are used to it. A new baby chick--you must be hoping it's not a rooster😅

Pam -- I'm glad you liked the video. Warmer spring is around the corner and we are all anxious for it.
