Late afternoon looking toward the way back.
These Adirondack chairs are under my balcony. See all the bird tracks?
The first two snow pyramids were formed over round planters. The third one with the melted top is over a light fixture.
Snow mounds over various planters and snow piled high on my brick wall.

It is all beautiful, but you sure did get what looks to be about two feet of snow! Thanks for the pictures. They all say a thousand words!
Well, coming from a person that almost never sees snow, it certainly is beautiful. I do see the bird tracks. Amazing that they will venture out in such cold weather.
I;m looking at the path you shoveled! How deep was it?
Your cottage and grounds look magical with the snow cover.
You have plenty of snow!
It looks very nice but not easy to shower!
Mama Pea -- It was your request that made me take more photos. I was distracted by all the shoveling ahead of me but yesterday I made sure my phone was in my pocket.

Orlena certainly did deliver a great deal of snow up your way. Nice work with the shoveling. May power be uninterrupted for you and your neighbors.
Thank you for the lovely photos.
Just because I can't help it now that I'm an official fussbudget: don't forget to go back and widen your path now that you've taken a break. The longer it waits the more you'll be tempted to skip it and the worse shape you'll be in when it snows again. Your front yard looks just like all the front yards in northern Maine in winter. That's the way we do it!
Lynn Marie -- As Tom Selleck says on those super annoying and evil ads for reverse mortgages on TV, This is not my first rodeo! Thank you for the reminder though. We have blue skies and bright sunshine today and all the roads are clear. They say New Jersey is still in a state of emergency and there are loads of people who aren't able to shovel like I can. I have two neighbors across the street who have snow blowers and I think they do a better job than snow plows, especially if you don't have a place to put the snow.
I'm glad to know the front of my house looks like Northern Vermont. I'm wearing DARN TOUGH VERMONT socks right now too. Thanks for stopping by.

Lynn Marie -- Oops. I said Vermont instead of northern Maine. I have been there in the summer but never in the winter. Stay snug,Rosemary
