Breathtakingly Beautiful

I tried to find more information on this grand interior but couldn't. The walls are beautiful as are the pair of chairs flanking the tree mural. via

Yes, lovely! This reminds me of the living room walls of the house my parents bought when I was nine years old. The previous woman of the house was very artistic. The walls were a soft beige color and the lady had hand painted light brown leaves in just the right spots drifting across and down the walls. They didn't jump out at you but were more of a delightful surprise when you noticed them for the first time. My folks never changed the walls and they were the same when they sold the house 20 years later. The house is still standing and occupied and I often wonder if the walls are still the same.

Mama Pea -- The hand-painted leaves, artistically located on the walls of your childhood home, sound absolutely delightful. I'm glad they were never painted over in your family's 20 years there. It would be good to know if they are still there, wouldn't it?
