I absolutely love this room! The beautiful woodwork (and its paint color), the rug, and all of those wonderful books! I never thought that I was a big fan of that shade of green (is it pale chartreuse? Not sure) but when my daughter was in high school, we painted her bedroom that color. She is grown up, with a family of her own, and long gone, but that green bedroom is where I have placed a comfy chair with a table and reading lamp beside it. It's downright cheerful, regardless of whether the sun is shining or the snow is blowing. Great picture, Rosemary!
Pam -- If I had to name that color I would call it Lemon-Sage. Did you notice how well it goes with the rug? Your daughter's old room sounds like the perfect reading room for you. For me, it's nice to see a lovely room that is not painted gray because I see so many of them in real estate. Dare to be different! xo, Rosemary

Beautiful room. It appears as if the rest of the house is just as beautiful.
