A perfect room for a nature lover! I really like the color of the painted door and wood trim--it's nearly the same shade as the bird in the wallpaper. Feels a bit whimsical, and I think that's wonderful!
I've always been drawn to floral wallpaper in a bedroom and could be very happy with this treatment. And, yes, the bedside table! To my mind, a bed isn't complete without one. Two, one on either side, if there are two occupants in the bed!
Mama Pea -- I couldn't live without a bedside table and this one is lovely. If we could see this room entirely there would probably be another one on the other side. If this one is an antique the other one probably would not match and that would be fine. My bedroom is not wide enough for a table on the other side so I have a floor lamp with a build in 'table' that takes up very little room. I don't use it very often except when I am reading in bed instead of watching TV. Waking up to this wallpaper would make every morning a delight. xo, Rosemary
