Plant some seeds next year and grow your own fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving decorations. Those small sugar pumpkins make the best pies. photo source
My sister planted some pumpkins in a small spare area of her property. She planted green pumpkin seeds, a nice surprise they produced green, white and orange pumpkins. She isn't sure she will do it again because keeping the plants watered was a nightmare for her. Pumpkin plants are extremely thirsty plants.
I love this photo.
I have found a farmer nearby who grows every kind of pumpkin/squash available. I bought some pumpkins from him this year but next year I'm doubling my purchase.
