I posted this in 2012. I added the text to this darling leaping lamb. I plan to work outside on the extra day tomorrow. It's going to be cold but not windy so I will be fine. If you dress warmly for outdoor work, it can be most pleasant. Happy Leap Year Day! xo

Love the leaping lamb, and love the dog topiary too. Topiaries have such a whimsical, childlike quality.
Precious little lamb and that particular shade of blue sky with the fresh green grasses is beautiful. There's nothing like watching babies hop and jump with boundless energy!! As a child I used to help milk the cows then bring the bucket to the farmer's wife & she'd put it in a bottle for me to feed a pet lamb at a farm in NY State where we vacationed. The baby goats and sheep are always romping and bouncing around with such delight!
