It's a home office with storage for office supplies, right?
Wrong. It's a bedroom or guest room in disguise.
I couldn't love this more. I found it in my iPhone photos and I've been saving the photos for a long time and have no idea where I found them. Isn't this the best home office ever? xo

Mama Pea -- I am glad to hear you like this versatile room too.

What a perfect room. Functional and attractive. I've always loved the thought of having a Murphy bed because I grew up hearing stories of how my parents' started their married life in a tiny apartment. There was a Murphy bed, and when it was pulled out for sleeping, there was no room to even walk around it. Oh Rosemary, thank you for the picture and another trip down memory lane!
Oh Rosemary, I love this! Murphy beds are so practical and useful! They tuck away, and then when you have a guest.....there is the bed! Not taking up all that space the rest of the time!
I must make a post of our guest house....destroyed in the mudslide; rebuilt...and redecorated, with another Murphy bed! And a hidden TV!
I love love love your blog.....suddenly getting it after months of trying to find..
Penelope Bianchi -- Penny, I would love to see your restored guest room with a Murphy bed. The hidden TV sounds intriguing too. I am so glad you found me again.

Pam -- Your parents' small apartment with no room to walk when the Murphy bed was pulled down sounds like something out of an old TCM movie! They are coming back it seems. I found the source of my photos -- CALIFORNIA CLOSETS. I posted a link with many more of the rooms they designed with Murphy Beds.
