My new listing went "live" yesterday and today is my Broker Open House. As luck would have it, the weather is awful. It's raining buckets but is supposed to stop by my 11:00 opening. When was the last time you saw a house with an elevator? For me, it's never! This one is a beauty and it serves all three floors. MLS: 3566006 Wish me luck today. Fingers crossed.

Oh, my! Sending as much luck to you via the Internet as possible. The sale of this property would be wonderful for you and you deserve it as I know you work very hard at your job.
When I was looking for a new house I looked at one that had an elevator. The house was stone and on a golf course. I thought the elevator must have been added long after the house was built, even though they made it look like an old one.
We once owned a house where we figured out where we could fit a small elevator but never actually got it installed.
What an amazing property! Wishing you the very best, Rosemary!!!
That is one big, beautiful house! I think an elevator in a house with two stories or more is a great idea. More and more people want to remain in their homes as they get older, and an elevator would certainly make life easier for them.
I wish you the best with this house - it needs any number of antique pieces to warm it up and I'm know you can help with that issue!
What a great idea, having an elevator. If more places included an elevator, then people would be able to 'age in place'. Walking up and down staircases can be tricky for older folks.
I marvel at all the lovely places you've shown. I do hope you'll sell this place soon! It would a real feather in your cap!
Hope you make a sale! I saw such an elevator at the estate sale I went to this past weekend, and have seen a few others. I'd certainly want to know that someone/somewhere would hear the alarm if I got stuck in one with no phone handy. :-)
" I'd certainly want to know that someone/somewhere would hear the alarm if I got stuck in one with no phone handy." Wasn't there a movie where that happened? I remember the elevator looking like a lacy cage rather than a room.
