Gail, northern California -- Gail, You are so right. I wish I could read the artist's name to give him credit for painting "Man's Best Friend" in such a realistic manner. I am sure the owner was thrilled with the results. Glad you are feeling better. xo, Rosemary
What a beautiful boy - and I would love to have his/her grandson or great-grandson! I do love dog portraits as so many of them truly portray the animal itself...and I need to get a real dog!!
I am catching up here. I always love your blog dearest bean. and I have missed many posts. I spent a month and a half with pneumonia. but am finally coming round now. this painting just warmed my heart. you can see the love and intelligence in that beautiful face! I have managed not to leave a comment on so many. but had to comment on this one for sure! XOXO
tammy j -- I am so sorry to hear you have been sick but glad to hear you are up and about again. That dog painting is one of my favorite things too. Take care of yourself and enjoy the spring weather. Thanks for catching up and leaving a comment. xo, Rosemary

Very proud and strong. Loyal and shows love to few but kindness to many.
