Gail, northern California -- Gail, You are so right. I wish I could read the artist's name to give him credit for painting "Man's Best Friend" in such a realistic manner. I am sure the owner was thrilled with the results.

What a beautiful boy - and I would love to have his/her grandson or great-grandson! I do love dog portraits as so many of them truly portray the animal itself...and I need to get a real dog!!
