Christmas Decor on My Farm Table

I bought these pomegranates several months ago at an estate sale with this arrangement in mind.

They are artificial but they look pretty real and they are frosted too. In person, they look as if they are sprinkled with fine sugar. Last year I had a table top tree in the center of my table but I like this arrangement much better. It is simple but effective and it only took five minutes. Yay!

Vickie H. -- Thank you, Vickie. I am very pleased with it too. Simple is good. The table top tree I did last year took hours and hours to decorate and take down. This one was easy.

Just lovely. When you share pictures of your home, each bit is so individual and expressive of you and your interests. The opposite of cookie cutter. Thank you for sharing bits of beauty with us.

It's really pretty, Rosemary, and so serene looking. I've gotten so the Christmas and holiday decorations that I love the most are the understated ones. Your cottage looks so warm and cozy, all ready for a fire in the fireplace and a cup of hot chocolate. And I love the grandfather clock! Have a very merry Christmas.

I visited with friends last week and we had our own little tour of homes going from one to the other oohing and ahhing over Christmas decorations. They were all beautiful, some simple and some over the top elegant. I have to admit the simple won with me every time because of the thought that they were going to spend hours putting it all away in a few weeks. Of course, the fact that I am 70 years old has a lot to do with not wanting to drag it all out and then put it all back. Simple and organic will win with me this year! Merry Christmas to all!

Rosemary - you have an eye for bringing lovely elements together for the perfect place and effect. Your new Christmas kitchen table centerpiece is no exception to this. However, my reigning fave in your kitchen will always be your tall clock. A tall clock in the kitchen : so very cool.
