November: Poem and Image 1889

Please click on the link and view this lovely poem by Beatrice Crane and the illustration by Walter Crane 1889. Have you ever read a more perfect description of the month of November? I have not! This is another image I want to print and keep forever.

Rosemary, This is stunning, both the poem and the art! Thank you for sharing it.

And we northern Californians are still having temperatures in the '70's! Crazy!

Mother Nature has decided to bring fall to our area. The above-average temps are gone and we've had to dig out our warmer coats and gloves. I genuinely enjoy the changing of the seasons and the opportunity to put my outside work to rest, and focus on what's inside. You're right, Rosemary, the illustration and poem are spot on.

Great poem and art work. Though I have to say, I find this time of year depressing! I hate short days, bad weather, coats and cold.
