Rosemary, It seems much like a child with an ice cream cone. Amazing how luscious soft, pale colors can be!
I thought that was someone's craft project. Surely those purple bits were made from pipe cleaners?
The body of the caterpillar and the poppy pod are nearly the identical color green- oh the Wonder of it all!
Linda Sand -- I posted a photo of that poppy and it's deep purple when it blooms. I have seen colorful butterfly caterpillars that are wildly colored so I think this is an authentic photograph.
